Flin's sale catalogue of books. For the year 1764, consisting of a curious collection of learning both ancient and modern, in most languages, arts and sciences, viz. Architecture, astronomy, divinity, geography, gardening, husbandry, mathematicks, physic, surgery, anatomy. Also variety of travels, voyages, history, biography, novels, and other books of entertainment, with many of the best variorum classics in folio, quarto, and octavo. Being the libraries of the Late Charles Delafaye, of Westbury, in Wilts Esq. that ingenious antiquary, Mr. Ralph Thoresby, of Leeds, in Yorkshire, both deceased, and others. Which begins selling at Flin's shop, the Bible in Castle-street, Dublin, on Monday October 31st 1763, and to continue on sale untill midsummer next. The lowest price for ready money being marked to each book. To prevent idle demands for catalogues, the price of 4d is fixed on each, which will be remitted in the first purchase that amounts to 5s. [S]aid Flin gives most money for any library or parcel of books.

Divinity, antiquity, history, mathematicks, architecture, husbandry and gardening, botany, anatomy, physick, surgery, voyages and travels, dictionaries and lexicons, novels and romances, poetry and plays, miscellanies, classics variorum & in usum delphinij. &c. law reports, abridgments, entries, &c. and the statutes at large, 6 vols. a number of curious Bibles, large prints, with cuts and without, by Field and others; and several scarce editions of common prayers, &c. Which will be all sold, very cheap, the price of each book mark'd in the first leaf, before expos'd to sale. At. J. Stephens's shop, the Bible in Butcher-Row, without Temple-Bar. Where the books may be view'd, and commissions executed till the day of sale, viz. on Tuesday the 2d of November 1742, and continue till all are sold. Catalogues are delivered gratis at the pamphlet shops at the Royal Exchange; at Mr. Ware, bookseller, Amen-Corner; at Abington's Coffee-House, Holbourn; at Mr. Jackson's, bookseller, St. Jame's-Street; and at the place of sale, where most money may be had for any library or parcel of books, or books exchanged.
